Bloggie theme provides different configuration options to build and customize your website. After activating theme, go to Bloggie Options to set configuration options for the theme.

1. Admin Branding

WordPress Login page Logo: Logo which will be displayed on admin login page.
WordPress Login page Background: Background image for login page. [WordPress Login page Background Image has higher priority than WordPress Login page Background Color]
WordPress Login page Background Color: Background color for login page.
WordPress Login page Logo Link: Link to be applied on WordPress Login page Logo.
WordPress Login page Logo Title: Title to be displayed on admin login page image.
WordPress Login page Custom Message: Message to be displayed on login page.

2. HomePage Settings

Number of recent posts: Specify the number of recent posts you want to be displayed in homepage version 1 and 3.

3. Header Settings

Search Option: If checked displays search option in header section of website.
Breadcrumb Option: If checked displays breadcrumbs on website.

4. Logo / Favicon

Upload Logo: Upload logo for your Website. Shown when header is in expanded mode i.e. on page scroll up [highlighted in the image below].
Bloggie

Upload Shrink Mode Logo: Upload shrink mode logo for your Website. Shown when header is in shrunk mode i.e. on page scroll down [highlighted in the image below].
Bloggie

Upload Favicon: Upload favicon for your website. Only .ICO and .PNG formats are supported.

Apple Touch Icon: Upload an Apple Touch icon for your magazine website. Only .ICO and .PNG formats are supported in following size variations :

Size 57px x 57px
Size 72px x 72px
Size 144px x 144px

5. Footer Settings

Social Icon Option: To enable/disable social icon option in footer.
Social Network Connectivity Text: Enter text to be displayed above social icons.
Copyright: Enter copyright text to be displayed on website.
Powered By: Enter powered by text to be displayed on website.
Footer Background Color: Set footer background color for your website.
Use Image in Footer Background: Enable/Disable use of background image. If ‘on’ then upload or default background image is shown in footer else background color.
Upload Footer Image: Background image to be used in footer.
Footer Font Color: Set a different font color for the footer text.
Footer Social Connectivity Text Font Color: Set a different font color for the social connectivity text (displayed above social icons).
Custom CSS: You can add your custom CSS code here. This field is useful when you want to override CSS settings provided by theme.
Analytics Code: Enter your tracking code here.

6. Social Icon Settings

Facebook Profile: Enter link to your Facebook profile.
Twitter Profile: Enter link to your Twitter profile.
Google+ Profile: Enter link to your Google+ profile.
LinkedIn Profile: Enter link to your LinkedIn profile.
Dribbble Profile: Enter link to your Dribbble profile.
Skype Profile: Enter link to your Skype profile.
Flickr Profile: Enter link to your Flickr profile.
YouTube Profile: Enter link to your YouTube profile.
Instagram Profile: Enter link to your Instagram profile.
Pinterest Profile: Enter link to your Pinterest profile.
Vimeo Profile: Enter link to your Vimeo profile.

7. Ads Settings

Ad Banner in HomePage version 2: Enable/disable ad banner available Homepage version 2.
Ad Banner Image: If banner image is uploaded and Article page Top Banner is enabled then uploaded image will be displayed at the top of article page.
Ad Banner Link: Link to be applied on the article page top banner image.
Alternative Text for the Image: Alternative for top banner image on article page.
Open The Link In a new Tab: If checked, when user clicks on article page top banner, link will be opened in new tab.
Nofollow: If checked, nofollow tag will be added to the banner link.
Google Adsense Code: If ad banner image is not uploaded and if you add Google Adsense code here, ads will be displayed in ad section.

8. Color And Styles

I. Theme Color Settings

Navigation Background Color: Set background color for your menu navigation.
Navigation Font Color: Set font color for your menu navigation.
Navigation Active Font Color: Set font color for active menu item, hovered menu item.
Navigation Header Font Color: Set font color for your menu’s header text.
Custom Color Scheme: Set a different custom color and change your website into new color scheme. Default color is Medium Turquoise.

II. Layout Options

Sidebar Options: It provides 3 options to set your default sidebar – Full Width, Left Sidebar and Right Sidebar.

9. Typography section

Heading Font: Select your theme’s default heading font from here.
Content Font: Select your theme’s default content font from here.

10. Sidebars

You can manage your sidebars from here. You can add new sidebar or delete existing ones from here.
Once you create sidebar, you can add widgets to it from Appearance > Widgets page in admin panel. You can add sidebars to different pages and posts.

11. API Settings

MailChimp Key: Enter a valid MailChimp Key here to get started. Once you have done that, you can use MailChimp Widget from Widgets menu. You will need to have at least one MailChimp list before using the widget.

12. Coming Soon Settings

Activate Coming Soon Page: Enables/Disables coming soon page functionality. [usually used before launch or when site is in maintenance mode]
Main Title: Title to display on coming soon page. Default – [Site Name] Coming Soon.
Description: Description or text or note to display.
Upload Background Image: Background image of coming soon page. If nothing is uploaded default is used.
Launch Date Counter Settings

Show Launch Date Counter: Enable/Disable time left counter.[available in ‘coming soon’ page template]. Time left is calculated based on difference between current date-time and chosen date-time in ‘Launch Date’ field.
Launch Date: Date-picker used to select launch date.

Note: The site will be made live if ‘Activate Coming Soon Page’ is ‘On’ & the date selected in ‘Launch Date’ has passed.

13. 404 Page Settings

Upload 404 page background image: Image to be used as background on 404 page. If none is uploaded default image provided will be used.
Choose button background color: Background color of ‘Back to Home’ button.
Choose button text color: Text color of ‘Back to Home’ button.
Choose button hover background color: Background color of ‘Back to Home’ button on hover event.
Choose button hover text color: Text color of ‘Back to Home’ button on hover event.

14. Backup Settings

Import Options: Import your option settings from the backup. This will overwrite all existing option values, please proceed with caution when you import settings! To be on safer side always take backup of current settings so that you can restore them if import doesn’t work correctly.
Export Options: Here you can copy/download your current option settings. Keep this safe as you can use it as a backup should anything go wrong, or you can use it to restore your settings on this site.
