Newsmag Pro theme provides different configuration options to build and customize your website. After activating theme, go to Newsmag pro Options to set configuration options for the theme.
General

  • Feed URL: Add the link for the site whose feeds are to be fetched
  • Number of Feeds: Add the number of feeds that you want to fetch

Admin Branding

  • WordPress Login page Logo: Logo which will be displayed on admin login page.
  • WordPress Login page Background: Background image for login page.
  • WordPress Login page Background Color: Background color for login page.
  • WordPress Login page Logo Link: Link to be applied on WordPress Login page Logo.
  • WordPress Login page Logo Title: Title to be displayed on admin login page image.
  • WordPress Login page Custom Message: Message to be displayed on login page.
  • Admin Security Settings
    • Remove Lost your password Text: If set to yes, it will hide forgot password text from login page.
    • Remove Login Errors: If set to yes, no login errors will be displayed.

Header Settings

  • Enable Ticker: If checked displays news ticker on website.
  • Search Option: If checked displays search option on website.
  • Breadcrumb Option: If checked displays breadcrumbs on website.
  • Login/Register Option: To enable/disable Login/Register option.

Logo / Fav Icon

  • Upload Logo: Upload logo for your magazine website.
  • Upload Fav Icon: Upload favicon for your magazine website. Only .ICO and .PNG formats are supported.
  • Upload Apple Touch Icon: Upload an Apple Touch icon for your magazine website. Only .ICO and .PNG formats are supported.

Home Page Settings

  • Home Page1: Either Slider or Issue Cover Image (based on option selected) will be displayed in main area of home page. Also enable of disable slider on custom homepage template from here
  • Select slider content: Select which articles are to be shown in the slider.
  • Home Page2: Either Slider or Issue Cover Image (based on option selected) will be displayed in main area of home page. Also enable of disable slider on custom homepage template from here
  • Select slider content: Select which articles are to be shown in the slider.
  • Custom HomePage: Either Slider or Issue Cover Image (based on option selected) will be displayed in main area of home page having template as “Custom Homepage” .
  • Slider: This option will be shown if “slider” is selected for custom homepage. Select any 1 slider from the two which you want to display on your homepage.
  • Select slider content: Select which articles are to be shown in the slider.

Footer Settings

  • Social Icon Option: To enable/disable social icon option in footer.
  • Bottom Footer Logo: Upload the image to be used as logo in footer bottom.
  • Brand Footer Widget Logo: Upload the image to be used as logo in footer widget.
  • Brand Footer Widget Text: Enter the text to be displayed in footer widget.
  • Copyright: Enter copyright text to be displayed on website.
  • Powered By: Enter powered by text to be displayed on website.
  • Custom CSS: You can add your custom CSS code here. This field is useful when you want to override CSS settings provided by theme.
  • Analytics Code: Enter your tacking code here.

Social Icon Settings

  • Facebook Profile: Enter link to your Facebook profile.
  • Twitter Profile: Enter link to your Twitter profile.
  • LinkedIn Profile: Enter link to your LinkedIn profile.
  • Dribble Profile: Enter link to your Dribble profile.
  • Google+ Profile: Enter link to your Google+ profile.
  • Skype Profile: Enter your Skype ID here.
  • Flickr Profile: Enter link to your Flickr profile.
  • YouTube Profile: Enter link to your YouTube profile.
  • Pinterest Profile: Enter link to your Pinterest profile.
  • Instagram Profile: Enter link to your Instagram profile.

Ads Settings

  • Advertise Area at the Sticky menu
    • Sticky menu Advertise: Switch this option on to enable advertise in sticky sidebar.
    • Sticky menu Advertise Image: Upload the image that you want to show in sticky sidebar for advertise.
    • Sticky menu Advertise Link: Link to be applied on the advertise.
    • Alternative Text for the Image: Alternative Text to be displayed if image is not shown.
    • Open The Link In a new Tab: If checked, link will be opened in new tab.
    • Nofollow: If checked, nofollow tag will be added to the banner link.
    • Google Adsense Code: If ad image is not uploaded and if you add Google Adsense code here, ads will be displayed on sticky siderbar.
  • Banner Area at the Top of Article
    • Article page Top Banner: Enable/disable ad banner at the top of article.
    • Article page Top Banner Image: If banner image is uploaded and Article page Top Banner is enabled then uploaded image will be displayed at the top of article page.
    • Article page Top Banner Link: Link to be applied on the article page top banner image.
    • Alternative Text for the Image: Alternative for top banner image on article page.
    • Open The Link In a new Tab: If checked, when user clicks on article page top banner, link will be opened in new tab.
    • Nofollow: If checked, nofollow tag will be added to the banner link.
    • Google Adsense Code: If ad banner image is not uploaded and if you add Google Adsense code here, ads will be displayed at the top of article page.
  • Banner Area at the Bottom of Article
    • Article page Bottom Banner: Enable/disable ad banner at the bottom of article.
    • Article page Bottom Banner Image: If banner image is uploaded and Article page Bottom Banner is enabled then uploaded image will be displayed at the bottom of article page.
    • Article page Bottom Banner Link: Link to be applied on the article page bottom banner image.
    • Alternative Text for the Image: Alternative for bottom banner image on article page.
    • Open The Link In a new Tab: If checked, when user clicks on article page bottom banner, link will be opened in new tab.
    • Nofollow: If checked, nofollow tag will be added to the banner link.
    • Google Adsense Code: If ad banner image is not uploaded and if you add Google Adsense code here, ads will be displayed at the bottom of article page.

Color And Typography

  • Theme Color Settings
    • Navigation Font Color: Set font color for your main menu navigation.
    • Navigation Font Hover Color: Set font hover color for your main menu navigation.
    • Custom Color Scheme1: Set a different custom color and change your website into new color scheme. Default color is purple
    • Custom Color Scheme2: Set a different custom color and change your website into new color scheme. Default color is orange
    • Footer Background Color: Set footer background color for your website.
    • Footer Widget Background Color: Set background color for footer widgets for your website.
    • Footer Title Color: Set title color for your footer widgets.
    • Footer Text Color: Set text color for your footer widgets.
    • Footer Social Background Color: Change the background colour for the social icons in the footer from here.
    • Footer Social Text Color: Change the text colour for the social icons in the footer from here.
  • Typography section
    • Theme Font: Select your theme font from here.

Sidebars And Layout

  • Layout Options: It provides 3 options to set your default sidebar – Full Width, Left Sidebar and Right Sidebar.
  • Sidebars
    • You can manage your sidebars from here. You can add new sidebar or delete existing once from here. Once you create sidebar, you can add widgets to it from Appearance > Widgets page in admin panel. You can add sidebars to different pages and posts.
  • Map Setting

    • Map Option: Enable/disable Map option from here.
    • Title: Add title for map section.
    • Map Height: Specify height of the map block.
    • Latitude: Specify latitude of your location.
    • Longitude: Specify longitude of your location.
    • Zoom: Specify zoom level for map.
    • Map Type: Specify type of map to be displayed. Options are RoadMap, Satellite and Terrain.
    • Info Text: Text to be displayed in information popup on map.
    • Info Max Width: Specify maximum width of popup.
    • Info Max Height: Specify minimum width of popup.
    • Marker Icon Path: Specify marker icon path.
    • Show Marker: If checked, marker will be displayed on the map.

    API Settings

    • MailChimp Key: Enter a valid MailChimp Key here to get started. Once you have done that, you can use MailChimp Widget from Widgets menu. You will need to have at least one MailChimp list before using the widget.

    Backup Settings

    • Import Options: Import your option settings from the backup. This will overwrite all existing option values, please proceed with caution when you import settings! To be on safer side always take backup of current settings so that you can restore them if import does now work correctly.
    • Export Options: Here you can copy/download your current option settings. Keep this safe as you can use it as a backup should anything go wrong, or you can use it to restore your settings on this site.
