• Yes, it works only with WordPress as it is WordPress plugin.

  • Magazine features works only with Magazine custom post type so all the articles uploaded in Magazine section will be published periodically. Default posts will be considered as simple blog posts. For the pro-theme, did you guys design the website?

    One way is, when your website is loaded for first time, it loads all the content from the current issues so menu will display all categories of current issue and all the articles will be displayed from current issue and when user clicks on another issue, user will be redirected to home page and load categories and articles from the selected issue and then can read another issue from there.   • This link demonstrates functionality indicated in first way as in above answer where on click of issue user will be redirected to home page and categories in menu and articles on pages will be from selected issue.

  • That is how WordPress works, posts created for particular custom post types does not appear in general post section. Custom types are way to implement different modules in WordPress. And as per WordPress’ standards if you want to implement modules then you have to use custom post types and default posts will be treated as blog posts.

  • Go to Magazines > MIM Issue Settings. Set “Editors can register from website” option to “Yes” and login/register links will be displayed on website.

  • Currently there is no option provided to hide it but if you want, you can achieve it by implementing child theme and writing code in it.

  • There is no option provided to upload files with posts in free theme. However you can achieve it by uploading PDF from Media section and providing link through editor.

  • Go to Magazines > MIM Issue Settings. Uncheck “Issue Category ” option. If this option is unchecked then default WordPress menu will be displayed in header. And to display current issue’s categories in sidebar, go to “Appearance > Widget” and enable MIM Current Issue Category Widget in the desired sidebar.

    2. On selected issue page, all articles from the selected issue will be displayed.
